Fastighetsförädlarna i Mälardalen establishes itself in Karlstad.
It is now clear that FFAB, Fastighetsförädlarna i Mälardalen AB, is entering new territory beyond Mälardalen. In Karlstad, we will construct a project property with a detailed plan for approximately 110 rental apartments. The area is already well established and the neighbor is one of the city’s more exclusive housing associations.
André Rosberg, Business Developer at FFAB, talks about the project:
– We have been working hard to finalize this deal and now we are ready to start demolishing the existing buildings, cover off the rock, and then measure the heights of the site with a drone. It is inspiring that FFAB is broadening its market and thus opening up new business opportunities. Karlstad is an interesting city located in an exciting region. The municipality, which I have worked with before, warmly welcomes new players and has a clear ambition and a positive outlook, which gives FFAB the best conditions for doing more business in the region.
Which target groups are you addressing?
– The idea is to build space-efficient rental apartments for a category of people who are really in need of housing, for example, young adults. The buildings to be constructed will have The Nordic Swan Ecolabel certification and solar panels installed on the roof. Environmental thinking is important and something we take with us throughout the process and construction. FFAB will collaborate with ÅWL arkitekter, the architectural firm behind FFAB’s Vård Norra and Vård Södra construction project at Kappelgärdet in Uppsala, the largest nursing home in the Nordic region.
