FFAB sponsors this year’s Stockholm Open – organizes tennis clinics for partners

When the world’s oldest ATP indoor tournament, Stockholm Open, now is in full swing in the Royal Tennis Hall, FFAB is one of the event’s sponsors.

For over 50 years, the Stockholm Open has delivered a world-class tennis competition with participants from all over the world. Famous winners over the years include Roger Federer, Björn Borg, Boris Becker, Stefan Edberg, and John McEnroe.

– This is not only a tennis event for us who like tennis, but also an opportunity for companies and partners to network, listen to lectures, exchange experiences and find new collaborations, something that we would like to help make possible, comments Jacob Sandberg, CEO of FFAB.

In addition to experiencing world tennis on-site, FFAB also organizes a number of tennis clinics for its partners. It is a way to combine training, dinner, and experiences at the same time and gives the chance to train with some of Sweden’s top trainers. This time the participants had the opportunity to train with renowned former tennis professionals such as Joachim “Pim-Pim” Johansson, Leif Johansson, Simon Aspelin, and Andreas Vinciguerra.

– For several years, we have also been the main sponsor of the youth tennis club SALK. New this year is the establishment of an FFAB scholarship, which is awarded to promising players to give them the opportunity to go on developmental international competition trips and camps. Supporting sport at different levels is something we find extremely important and rewarding, says Jacob Sandberg.
